This is exactly why any talk of the Bucks “getting lucky” with injuries in the 2021 playoffs with Irving/Trae is ridiculous. Not only did Giannis go down with the ECF tied 2-2 THAT year, you’d also be hard-pressed to find a more “unlucky” injury team in the playoffs since.

Say whatever you will about the trades themselves, but when David Stearns traded Josh Hader and Matt Arnold traded Corbin Burnes and Devin Williams, they were at least on Zoom calls with media right away.
