Maybe it's all the comedy legends I saw at the DC Improv back in the 90s when I first lived in DC, but even after 6 years of comedy there's nothing quite as exciting as performing on this stage.

It's a common question: Star Wars or Star Trek. While I reject the need to choose, I say Trek because it's a better world to live in. Star Wars is just us: greed, power, cruelty. Spaceships and laser swords don't fix that.
I do still love a great story though, and The Bad Batch doesn't disappoint.

Because there already was a USS Sagan: the Intrepid-class NCC-75055. That was meant to be decommissioned as Starfleet consolidated around smaller numbers of fewer different ship classes, with the name being transferred to the first Sagan class.
But plans change. USS Sagan was still exploring...

Not sure why Acolyte got all the hate (aside from the usual toxic fandom reasons we never admit). Sure the last 2 episodes struggled to pull together the narrative, but it was still enjoyable and a solid setup for a second season exploring the flaws of the jedi. Ah well.

FYI for you Star Trek Lower Decks Boimler cosplayers out there: the Sun-In purple Fun-In was easy to use and worked great, but if you have light colored hair (or salt and pepper cause you're an elder nerd) it's not coming out after one (or 5) shampoos.
I don't mind, but if my job did...oops.
