Maybe it's all the comedy legends I saw at the DC Improv back in the 90s when I first lived in DC, but even after 6 years of comedy there's nothing quite as exciting as performing on this stage.

It's a common question: Star Wars or Star Trek. While I reject the need to choose, I say Trek because it's a better world to live in. Star Wars is just us: greed, power, cruelty. Spaceships and laser swords don't fix that.
I do still love a great story though, and The Bad Batch doesn't disappoint.

The Sagan is my favorite new starship design (shout out to @daveblass.bsky.social, Doug Drexler, & John Eaves) but this sentence in the Fanhome book irks me:

Not sure why Acolyte got all the hate (aside from the usual toxic fandom reasons we never admit). Sure the last 2 episodes struggled to pull together the narrative, but it was still enjoyable and a solid setup for a second season exploring the flaws of the jedi. Ah well.

Half way through Star Wars: The Acolyte (I know. Hey I never said I was a _good_ fanboy). Love a character-driven story.
I hope there's a deeper twist with the 4 Jedi, but I already appreciate the twist I know is coming.
