This kind of analysis seems underserved since most people either reverted to forever masking or never masking. The middle ground is appreciative.

Fun paper but "it's not anecdote because we say so" is an objectively hilarious, weird and wrong paragraph to have in a paper like this.

As I've said, I actually support the limits on micromobility, but they have to be paired with ones that are the same or slower for cars. I've long called for 20 across the board on anything that moves in NYC. A system that vilifies ebikes and suggests we're more dangerous than cars is insane.

I don't have the 🇩🇪 political experience to tell if this is just a ploy for press (like the Magnetbahn or nixing the quick-citizenship path) or an actual, terrible, wasteful-beyond-belief thing that could happen in the world we live in. Daumen gedruckt.

Same! Big foot gang represent!

My @muli-cycles.bsky.social rack extends back far enough so if I hook an Ortlieb at the rearmost point my foot doesn't hit it. That far back there's only partial lateral support, so heavily-loaded bags aren't immune to infringing on the rear tire or mud guard, tho.

Mind if I ask your shoe size? I have giant feet and this is a problem for me on most bikes.

This struck me: "half of newcomers travel by transit, which is much higher than our overall mode share of around 10%"
