Just found out on Reddit a petition opposing the Trethewey bike lanes has been making the rounds. While it's not likely to sway any minds given it passed council, it's frustrating how much carbrain we have to put up with for every project! #BikeTO #TOpoli #VisionZero www.reddit.com/r/torontobik...

The recently installed RapidTO bus lanes on Dufferin have already caused Daniel Tate's so-called IntegrityTO to blame bus lanes for gridlock. Having used to take the Sufferin', we need to prioritize the 40,000 daily bus users over single occupancy cars! #TTC #TOpoli www.instagram.com/integrity_to...

Ok, I know it’s a paid ad, but it’s nice to see National Geographic still calling it the Gulf of Mexico.

I see drivers WHIZZING around in 2 ton boxes of steel which scare me a hell of a lot more than someone on a e-scooter.

I don’t quite understand the moral panic around micro-mobility. Anything that gets people out of cars - scooters, e-bikes, segways, e-skateboards- is a plus in my book.

#cycleto holding rally to finish up bike lanes on Eglinton

When: Thursday, September 11th at 6:00 pm
Where: Eglinton and Holly (just east of Yonge)
What: Ride WEST ~1.5km to the end of the bike lanes and tell the city no more delays!

Bloody hell this is maddening. The province builds bike lane segments in front of every new LRT station, expecting the city to build the rest.

Now the city is saying it won’t do that, because the province doesn’t like bike lanes anymore?#bill212

So now cars don’t have their lane AND cyclists […]
