More of a statistician than a mathematician. Becoming more Bayesian each time I update my priors.
So Angela will now pay the full amount of stamp duty, and rightly so.

Nonetheless, the Labour party is drawing level with the Tories in this two party race to oblivion.

Does anyone know what happens when you deselect "legitimate interest" on a website?

Does it actually stop vendors from scraping data?

Just got informed that my mobile phone contract will rise by inflation +3.9%. If it carries on like this I am going be needing some custard tins and a lot of string.

Well I didn't see that coming. Well done England. Looks like they have found their new flyhalf.

Was disappointed to see the UK lagging behind in the drop in Tesla sales. Then I had a vague recollection that the UK purchases way more company cars than most other EU countries, and that might mean the drop is delayed. Can anyone confirm?

Having successfully abandoned X, Facebook is next to go. Anyone tried MeWe recently? Other alternatives?

So if Farage is not right wing enough who is Musk looking to elect in his second territory?

Toby Young? Terese Coffey? In the House of Lords?
I believe we can benefit from having a bicameral system, but when the upper chamber gets filled with the dregs of polite society, it does make you wonder.

Tonight's rugby union: France Vs Argentina. The pitch has passed inspection from the cold. Anthems being sung as I sit on my couch and wrap a blanket around me. May the best team win.

I always found twitter to be a bit like I was a commuter in a train carriage over-hearing snatches of conversations.
Overtime that train became more and more full of unpleasant dweebs. Moving to BlueSky is like moving to a new train. Cleaner, a little quieter and a lot more comfortable.

Despite the protestations of the Daily Mail, it should be remembered that Thatcher is largely responsible for the mess in our water supply.
