More of a statistician than a mathematician. Becoming more Bayesian each time I update my priors.
It makes me question what the word 'understand' actually means.

Maybe you Tie(d) a Yellow Ribbon somewhere so that you wouldn't forget!! (Sorry that's another that's ingrained in my brain from around then)

It does look very good but price should reflect the moderate publishing cost not the exceptional value of the content. That said it would look good beside my other chapman and hall books ...

We have hundreds of the things. It's like someone has decorated the tree for Halloween.

I still believe that the question of whether we have a constitution or not is nuanced, and is not an absolute one way of the other.

Further in the context of this thread on Liz Truss it's even more ambiguous what she is talking about.

Seriously? "it's to be found.." ?? What is it, a competition?

Which leading statutes, conventions, judicial decisions and treaties are part of it and which aren't?

The link you provide suggests that not only is the constitution not codified it's not even all written down anywhere.

Perhaps it would be better to say we are relatively close to absolutely having a constitution. Or is that too Yes Minister.

Curious what rationale you have to support the notion that the Cab Secretary should be primarily a reformer. What kind of things do you think he should be responsible for reforming.

To me, the documentary definitely challenged my prior belief that Lennon was the leader. McCartney comes across as the creative driving force.

I agree. From the outside, it seems quite plausible that it was a genuine mistake. I was thinking more generally of people like Vennels, who was clearly at fault but surely wasn't the only one.

It would be difficult to reach any other conclusion. It seems a bad woman is more newsworthy than a very bad man.
