A jagged edge made smooth by time
Hubs bakes for a living and your original cookies looked amazing. Those just look fine.
If you’re looking for a good recipe for cookies though, Americas Test Kitchen never disappoints. Or whatever your original recipe was. Those cookies looked amazing.

They actually delivered it to the back door - I found it about 40 min ago. The online tracker, however, shows it’s still out for delivery, so great system they’re using.

The roof wouldn’t be that bad. My front door is literally on the busy main road. Porch pirates are insane up by me.

I think there’s a new pottery place that opened on Spring Garden that may do classes for creating pottery?

Sweet potato, carrot, and curry soup. Puree then add whatever rice mix and protein you want. Use a massaman curry base if you can find it.

I haven’t priced it out but I think that this dinner, which will feed us at least 3 suppers (6 bowls total) and 2 lunches for me (1 bowl), so 7-8 bowls depending on serving size probably cost about $10. I used bulk dried pinto beans, and bulk rice.

I'm from the Summerville side - it's gorgeous down there. Locky must have really wanted the work to leave such a gorgeous place to go to New York.

@rmhupman.bsky.social I cannot remember if we ever talked about Locky, but here he is!

Grampa was an amazing woodworker. While in Holland, he carved this out of a single solid piece of wood. It’s in the museum at Gagetown. It’s flexible, and the balls at the end are free in the cages. It’s really an incredible piece.
