This is bothering me the most.
Industry requirements are especially heinous because they basically lock you into whatever industry you are able to find a job in when you graduate.
So because they didn't manufacture pharmaceuticals where I lived after college I am barred from entry into that industry? That's dumb.

This is bothering me the most.
Science jobs requiring special instrument training seems needlessly complicated. Even if I have been trained on a GC, the chances that it's the same make/model/configuration/software are negligible. So either way it's going to take a few weeks to learn how to use yours using your SOPs.

I keep seeing MAGA bots say that the US can't have effective Scandinavian-like policies because of the lack of "homogeneity".
It's barely even a dog whistle. It's literally, "well they can have nice things cause they're all white."
