A student had a question about clouds, which reminded me of this video I made a while ago.
It's an experiment I did to try to verify what the Earth Science textbook said - that droplets of water in a cloud can be a millionth the size of a raindrop.

It seems like the difference is people who think of art as a product vs a process. I like the songs I *have made* but what's really rewarding is *making* them. AI "art" is product without process.

I fielded the "if humans evolved from apes, why are there still apes" question from an honest, curious person today. I know it's fun to dunk on that, but we have to tell the difference between "ignorant and confident" and "I never learned this and never felt the need to ask."

I'll never forget the time that I was a teacher at a small Christian school, early in my career and not earning much. We needed WIC and SNAP to get by at the time. One of my students repeated a common lazy-bums-on-food-stamps complaint and I had to bite my tongue. I think about it from time to time.

I get it now. The soldiers are still in the army for the same reason I'm still in America. They belong to something which is obstensibly honorable, and are part of a family's support network that would be devastated if they just LEFT.

In case anyone needs to hear this, I accomplished a small, easy task I've been putting off, and the feeling of accomplishment motivated me to move on to other, larger tasks I have been putting off.
