yes, it's crazy. Had to get one of the nursing staff to intervene with a bloke on my dad's ward. I couldn't think straight with that racket going on.

There’d been a Cornish flag on the Lewisham side for a long time. I think Greenwich have been taking them down but it might not be their lamp post…

tea hut side of the road is Lewisham, park side is Greenwich but lamp posts on the A2 are TfL’s lookout. (Was just crossing the heath but was too far away to tell for sure.)

this is why I always shift uncomfortably about the idea of micropubs “promoting conversation” - you either end up in an argument or someone butts in with an unnecessary diversion

that used to be really well-known for showing just about any football match possible, in the days before mass streaming and crackdowns on showings 3pm kick-offs
