The attacks on free speech by the right continue. If the facts are being accurately reported, there is no universe where this was not quintessential protected speech under the First Amendment.

Reminder--Jimmy Carter managed to get Egypt and Israel to sign a peace treaty in March 1979, the greatest diplomatic feat in the modern history of the Middle East. He was voted out of office in a landslide the following year.

While a federal bank fraud conviction under 18 U .S.C. § 1344 doesn't require any showing of actual loss by the financial institution, it's relevant to note the Letitia James indictment significantly inflates the amount of her alleged "total ill-gotten gains." (1/9)

Breaking: SCOTUS has denied certiorari in Ghislaine Maxwell's petition to overturn her conviction in the Southern District of New York for conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein to sexually abuse minors.

That's the end of the appellate road, and her conviction and sentencing stands.

Democrats should make firing Martin a non-negotiable condition for avoiding a shutdown.
