This is an awfully misleading graph. Yes, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, but charting it by percentage of income hides how much the rich are actually making. A useful graph would show $, not %. This comes across as very sympathetic to the exploiting class.
CBO just released its own preliminary estimates for how rich vs poor are affected by the House budget bill. Roughly same conclusion: poorest get poorer, richest get richer.
