Having grown up with Harry P****,* I was deeply disappointed and disturbed by the hateful, exclusionary views associated with its creator. Once someone is aware of what she stands for, continuing to support her work makes it hard to see them in the same light

If you have trans or LGBTQ friends or family and still vote Republican thinking it’s “just politics,” you’re ignoring how your choices affect the people you love. Supporting your community means protecting them—anything else is selfish and blind to their reality.

The Democratic tent is a diverse coalition of marginalized communities fighting to be seen. Our leaders may not check every box or perfectly align with each cause, but tearing them down only weakens us. When we bash our own, we hand the Far Right the chance to crush us all.

This isn’t justice. It’s vengeance. Trump doesn’t care about Babbitt—this is raw defiance. Every lawsuit, every trial, every mug shot—they didn’t break him, they provoked him. This is his way of screaming back: ‘You came for me? I’ll show you what that costs.’
This isn’t about Babbitt. There’s no logic here. Trump doesn’t care who she is—this is 100% a middle finger to the system for coming after him post-term: the lawsuits, investigations, trials, mug shots. It’s pure retaliation, not reason.

Watching ICE terrorize children in the name of our government is gut-wrenching. These are people acting on behalf of all of us, and the cruelty they inflict makes me physically ill. It’s unbearable to witness children treated with such coldness and fear by those wearing the seal of our country.
