Corporate America, backed by the GOP, deflects blame for economic hardship by scapegoating marginalized groups like immigrants, who lack the power to fight back. While they hoard wealth, they pit working people against each other, distracting from the real source of inequality: corporate greed.

The GOP says “no law can fix gun violence” when kids are shot in schools. But when a trans kid just wants to play baseball, suddenly laws fly left and right—100s of bills in Congress to control lives, not save them. They won’t protect children, only legislate who they can be.

A massive 3-story Trump banner should send shivers down her spine. History has shown us how authoritarian leaders like Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin used towering banners displaying their omnipotence to symbolize control and intimidate opposition. Power displayed this way is never benign.

Amid renewed global focus on indigenous rights, it's vital to remember Middle Eastern communities—like the Assyrians, Yazidis, Mandaeans and many others who have endured centuries of marginalization, under Islamic conquest and persecution, yet persist in preserving their heritage.

Millions and millions have died in global conflicts. Could they all be genocides? Yet only one is labeled as such. Why is the state whose people endured history’s worst genocide accused, while others are not? Because the term was weaponized long before Oct 7 to redefine survival as oppression.

Sarah Hurwitz reflects that her detachment from Judaism came from centuries of antisemitism and two hundred years of efforts by Jews to erase parts of ourselves and our tradition in hopes of being accepted. What once felt humiliating now inspires grief, shame, and compassion.

Anyone else remember that scene in V (1983) where Daniel proudly joins the Visitor Youth—a fascist-aligned group collaborating with the alien regime? He turns on his own family and community. Chilling stuff. Does this remind anyone else of the types of people now joining ICE today?

Marking their first yahrzeit, remember these six beautiful humans. They were not combatants—they were innocent lives stolen. For those who speak of victims in this conflict, remember them. And remember the hostages still held in Gaza. Their families wait. Their lives matter. Bring them home.

When Susan Sarandon says Jews are “getting a taste” or Peter Slezak says Jews “should feel uncomfortable,” it’s clear that anti-Zionism and anti-Israel are just antisemitism in disguise. Saying “Zionist” or “Israeli” is code for “Jew.” It’s becoming harder and harder to hide hate behind activism.

J.K. Rowling built a world where children felt safe and seen—then used the fortune it brought to make life harder for some of those same kids. Her shift from imaginative creator to divisive figure is a betrayal of the very values her stories once celebrated. Trans kids are valued and they are loved
