it's a little funny that Congress could stop this any moment, but Johnson and Thune won't because the GOP fears primary voters more than global economic calamity

Yesssss!!!
Adding a journalist to a top secret government group chat about dropping bombs *IS* the kind of thing people who aren’t super politically literate can understand and find shocking/notable/disqualifying. Dems should seize on this and never ever let it go. I hope to hear about it in a decade

Can we get like a 1000% more of this?
Sen. Ruben Gallego tells me his NO on the House funding bill means he will also vote NO to advance it procedurally.

“Yeah, I don’t get cute with this shit.”

The word for what Senate Democrats are doing right now is "betrayal." Not only are they voluntarily surrendering the only leverage they have, the leverage they have spent months promising to use against Trump, they're doing it while lying and pretending they want the opposite.

If y'all let this happen, every single Senate Dem should be primaried. Even the supporters, for allowing @schumer.senate.gov to remain leader.
Let’s face it, Schumer has been terrible even before this. It is time for new leadership. He isn’t the person for this moment in history, and the longer he clings to power the worse off we all are.

A YES on cloture is a YES for the bill.

Do not let anyone play games with you.

I’d like to ask every single New Yorker who’s remotely left of center to get actively involved in your local Democratic Party chapter with the goal of driving Schumer, Gillibrand, Hochul, Adams, Cuomo and all the other dead wood into retirement.

@schumer.senate.gov do not support cloture!!

How different are Hunter Biden and Pete Hegseth? Fringe right wing tattoos?

Wild idea: the site of every mass shooting (whether school or mall, etc.) should be named after a spineless republican politician that won't lift a finger to help. Think of Uvalde now as the Cruz Center for Bravery. How long would it take to shame them into action?

I don’t know when I’ll have my first heart attack, but I’m confident my Tupperware cabinet will have a lot to do with it.

I hope he gets the help he needs, but if this happened to his opponent he would be playing up his “Christian conservatism” and it would be nauseating.
Hey so NC5 got the field sobriety test from TN Senate GOP caucus chair Senator Ken Yager’s DUI after a hit-and-run crash in Georgia, and we can’t help but notice he appears to have forgotten to use the restroom before he started driving.

I've noticed I have a harder time commenting on other's posts here. I realized it's because the jackassery on the other site compels rage commenting. I can already feel my BP lowering. Just gotta reset to positive engagement.
