I requested pain management beyond ibuprofen before my replacement last month and was told the only option they had was a shot to the cervix which may or may not work. They’re definitely not following this guidance.
I say all this to say, if you have to undergo any of these procedures in the future…don’t hesitate to request medication and anesthesia.
And if they give you a hard time, pull up the receipts, and act accordingly
