One more note. Someone a lot smarter than me made a similar point in The NY Times this morning. @tressiemcphd.bsky.social argued against democrats trying to run to the middle. It hasn’t worked. Try doing the things suggested by more progressive and populist people.

Maybe it’s because y’all paint the south as one homogeneous, backward place with no nuance to the fact that it’s gerrymandered to the hilt, but…uh…yeah
