I always remember a guide I saw for whether or not one should get a man bun:
"Are you Japanese film star Toshiro Mifune? If the answer is no, you should not get a man bun."

My chili recipe has meat, but it would be very easy to just leave it out. And it's definitely a "throw everything into the crockpot for six hours" recipe.

Honestly, the answer was generally whichever one worked for the joke, so you're spot-on there. :P

I started in Revised. Dropped off the first time after Visions, then picked back up when I got into drafting during Odyssey (and then stopped again after Fifth Dawn).

That's how it always goes. The carefully crafted posts that you thoroughly consider in advance to make sure they're worded just right? Crickets. An off-the-cuff musing that you didn't give any real thought to? Instantly viral.

There were some bizarre choices made about Spore's gameplay loops. The best parts of the game were the early stages, and yet it absolutely *rushes* the player through to the much-less interesting endgame, where also your meticulously designed creature is reduced to swarms of tiny dots on the screen.

Reminds me of a story I heard of a parent who went to a video game store and asked for a game without conflict. The clerk started listing off a variety of non-violent games, and the parent clarified that no, he wanted a game for his son that had no elements of conflict whatsoever.

I hope you didn't include the same secret ingredient as Harrow did...

I've definitely worked on games that sold reasonably well but failed to meet the (often unrealistically high) internal expectations.

Not just "don't elect a man who will," but also "don't elect a Congress who won't stop him," because they absolutely could if they wanted to.

I haven't played Hades 2, but if Ianthe's involved that relationship would be toxic as hell.

With the way the weather has been going this year, I'm guessing it'll be autumn in January.
