These days I'm mostly playing as a Viper, and I like to think I've got a pretty good one picked out for that job, too.

My ninja is, I am afraid, not a cat.

Unfortunately it looks like every page beyond the first is getting dynamically resized to fit screen width on mobile, making them both huge and squished.

Skids and Mudflap combined into an ice cream truck briefly at the start of Revenge of the Fallen, if that counts.

If you see this, quote this post with a vampire that isn't Dracula.

A movie I've watched more than six times.

(Gifs only, with Hard mode: no Star Wars, Star Trek, or LOTR)

"You’ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who is coming to save you?"

In the event they do manage to rescue me (which is far from certain), I think there's an even chance I end up getting turned into a small animal anyway.

I've gotten lots of games for Christmas over the years, but I'll never forget my excitement at finding this one under the tree in 1996.

4) Moving on to 1990's Secret of Monkey Island for the PC. This is the game that got me into LucasArts' adventure games, and the combination of clever puzzles, witty dialogue, hilarious visual gags, and a (near) inability to permanently fail all makes for a timeless classic.

Based on the original artwork, it appears to have been fur. But like the original Ridley art someone else shared, things changed by Super Metroid.

3) Next up is 1995's Chrono Trigger for the SNES. It needs no introduction, so instead I'll bring up that this was the first RPG I ever played, back when I had no idea what an RPG even was. All I knew is some kids at school were raving about it, and I wanted to try it, and it hooked me on the genre.

In honor of Caturday here is Pixel in a box, with Calliope staring down at her from the counter.

2) Going for a deep cut next, 1998's Alundra for the PS1. The gameplay is a lot like A Link to the Past, but with much higher difficulty, a much darker story, and excellent localization. Alundra has the power to walk through peoples' dreams, and must save a land mysteriously plagued with nightmares.

1) Gonna start with this GOAT, of course: 1994's Super Metroid for the Super Nintendo, which is about as close to a perfect game as I've ever played. Gameplay, animations, music, level design, all of it is absolutely on point here, and it still remains the high mark of the series 30 years on.
