Joker swung. His gloved fist connected with his jaw with enough force to deform the armor protecting Goro’s face. The second punch broke through, and the pain was exquisite and excruciating. He’d abandoned his usual knife and gun, and Goro was almost insulted, despite how intrigued he was by this physical approach. Joker wasn’t prepared for a lethal confrontation, and really he should’ve known Goro better by that point. The idea that Joker had increased his physical strength so drastically in the month Goro spent in stasis seemed impossible, but he could feel the gap between them. He was only barely holding off his attacks, teeth rattled in his skull, and he just wanted to scream. There was still the option of tearing his heart free of limits, the blessing of the berserker that had come with his Persona, but relying on his trump card felt like admitting a kind of defeat. He was enough on his own. He could be enough. And if he wasn’t, it was only because Maruki had shaped him clumsily. Goro had been reinvented, but only to cede to his rival. He had not experimented enough to know if he had any free will when it came to the counselor’s pet, or if he was truly in hell. Goro kicked Joker off and away. Joker slid backward, fingers gripping the slick floor to slow his momentum. He coiled, impossibly acrobatic, and came at him again. Joker caught Goro’s mask by the horns, then twisted them both toward the rippling puddle of a break in Maruki’s cognition. He opened the door half back in reality, and swung Goro in and against a shelving unit. Boxes of abandoned building materials rattled and sagged above them. Joker ripped away the top jaw of Goro’s mask like he was any other Shadow..

I enjoy reading different genres and trying new things, but am always a sucker for interesting characters, angst, the power of friendship and bittersweet endings. If it made me cry (which isn't very hard to do), it did something very right! At the moment I think my favourite book is Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo - the dramatic finale to the Six of Crows duology! “Hey, Ren?” Ren turned to look at him, and Goro took his chance. He launched the water he had gathered in his arms up toward Ren with as much force as he could, and he had the pleasure of seeing him taken completely off-guard before his face was covered with seawater. He cackled as Ren spluttered, and there was a flash of anger in his face before he started laughing too. He swept his arm in a wide arc, sending a wave of water that clocked Goro in the jaw even as he turned his face away, and they started heading deeper into the water as they splashed each other with increasing force. The other people around gave them a wide berth, not keen to get caught up in the battle, and soon it seemed to be just them in the water. But as Goro stepped further away from Ren to get a better angle of attack, he slipped. His sure feet got caught in the shifting sand below, and Goro was unable to readjust before he started falling backward. He screwed his eyes shut against the inevitable saltwater, but before he could hit the waves one hand grabbed his wrist and another splayed across the small of his back, catching him just in time. Goro opened his eyes to the sight of Ren’s face consuming the sky, the eclipsed sun making the ends of his damp, dark hair glow, and as Goro stared into the face of this new sun he was Icarus, lost in the light.

All optiond go +50% for an additional character. Commission sheet providing information about prices and options. It shows an example of a colored sketch commission that costs 35€ and a Character sheet commission that consists of 3-4 drawings of the same Character arranged on one canvas, which costs 80€ commission sheet providing information about commission options and prices. The sheet shows an example of a detailed background illustration. It explains a detailed background will cost +65€ as it takes a lot of time and effort to draw one.
