Today Pope Francis left us. I mourn his departure, and am grateful for the role he played in modernizing the Church - which I hope whoever succeeds him will pursue. May he rest in peace along with the Lord.

A character named Drew (They/Them) who is wearing clothes that are a mix of ancient Egyptian garb and modern day clothes that a more artistically expressive person might wear. They have purple hair and are carrying around vials of potion. They are an Amenti from the Chronicles of Darkness TTRPG (hence the bandages on the arms). Besides them - floating like a ghost - is the Egyptian priestess whose soul bonded with Drew's, so she is wearing the same clothes as they are minus the fact that she is also wearing a headdress. Both characters are surrounded by four construct animals - a hawk, a snake, a cat and a lizard. These have a golden and black colour scheme.

I wanted to give an update on the #Flowerpunk webcomic itself since I've mostly been doing doodles lately.

I've been making a lot of progress recently and have produced some of my favourite panels yet in the first chapter.

An establishing shot of the city of Wyrdon. This is deep in one of the backstreets where the buildings appear twisted and distorted. This part of town is in a state of disrepair with boarded-up windows and trash and potholes littering the road. Magical technology has been hurriedly fitted within the architecture, which seems to be causing the distortion of this part of Wyrdon. The technology is intended to push back on "the rot" (the fleshy red and white stuff on the road and walls) but it is not working. A shot of Kimi walking down a street wearing a backpack. To his right is a building called "Andrew Sun's Bakery" where warm light streams from the window. To his left is an old telephone box and a bicycle parking zone. There is also some rot on the pavement behind him.
