On 21 November Greece celebrates its Armed Forces Day.

A #wildfire that broke out on the Greek island of #Chios on Tuesday is still raging. According to the Fire Service, coastguard boats and private boats have been evacuating people from Limnia and Agia Markella beaches.

Areas northwest have also received evacuation alerts.

Greek police seized 271 kilos of cocaine worth around €5.5 million hidden in a banana shipment from #Ecuador.

Three suspects were arrested after a tip-off from the UK’s National Crime Agency exposed a trafficking ring moving large quantities of #cocaine to Europe.
