Hello @doublearrow64.bsky.social (or indeed other railway typeface-interested types), I know it's not really your preferred area of study, but do you know if there is a single source of info on the typefaces used by post-1994 train operating franchises esp for signage? I can't readily find one. 1/2

Great fun playing at St Mary le Tower today (probably the last time before they become Ipswich Minster in January), including Langlais Messe Solenelle, Ireland TD and Jubilate and Stanford’s For lo, I raise up.

If your programming language can work with 64-bit ints, today’s AdventOfCode was a simple one!

AdventOfCode day 5. I’ve got part 1, but my MacBook Air tells me it doesn’t have enough RAM to brute force part 2. I’m going to leave it for a bit and see if I can work out a nicer solution in the next few days.

Advent of Code, Day 2, done. Enjoying pipelines in F# but I can see that this might start causing performance issues once the puzzles get harder.

Advent of Code Day 1: done! Nice and simple but I feel like my part so solution form be a little hacky. Took a while to solve some type issues in F# but I’m enjoying F# so far.

Yesterday, my wife and I celebrated 20 years since we got together. As a sort of gift, I made a webpage with our first emails and some MSN messenger chats from 2003. Some of me would like to return to the days of spending evenings chatting on MSN!
