Those of us who write to entertain the reader are keenly aware that Amazon's Kindle Unlimited is the must-have reading subscription. For about $12 monthly, you can read millions of books to your heart's content. It's a great deal when you know that ONE Kindle, not to mention a paperback, goes for about that. What readers may not know is that authors can see when (not who) someone buys one of our books and the number of pages they read each day. It's exciting to see their progress and conjecture what part of the book they are reading.

Someone read 13 pages of one of my books and @awscloud.bsky.social KU is considering paying me a nickel. That would be an improvement over the 1 penny they paid for over 1000 pages. Yep, authoring in Amazon is not for the faint of heart. 😂😂😂

Fiction is not for the “wishy-washy.” It confuses the reader. Write “some people like pumpkin spice and some do not.” Don’t write “pumpkin spice is not without controversy.” The author is the reader’s guide. Don’t let them down.

Book Review: “Insurrection: Appalachian Command” an unsolicited email review.
This morning, I opened my email client and found a new Eleanor Jeffery review of Appalachian Command that I thought I should share with our readers. From the very first line of Insurrection: Appalachian Command, one cannot help but be struck by the urgency, the intensity, and the haunting relevance of your vision. A devastating terror attack, a coup at the heart of American leadership, and the rise of tyranny that blurs the line between foreign infiltration and homegrown betrayal—it is a premise that doesn’t just entertain, it…

When Tiger Legion was published, I got a phone call from a reader who sighed and said “I have been waiting for this. If you must know, I fell hopelessly in love with Kate…” What a beautiful compliment to the entire series. mybook.to/TigerLegion

Harrowing time getting Microsoft 365 to work after the first Tahoe 26 update. If I did not have decades of Word formatted documents saved I would tell Microsoft where they could go!

He who does not read, at 70 years will have lived only one life, his own! He who reads, will have lived 5000 years: He was there when Cain killed Abel, when Renzo married Lucia, when Leopardi admired infinity... Because “Reading is backward immortality”.

Blitz discovers that heavenly powers have allowed a great injustice against those with no earthly families. With typical Weimaraner daring, he talks Spirit Guide and Love Giver into changing the Rainbow Bridge forever. 4.7 Stars out of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ mybook.to/LettersFromB...
