Just a great, gritty win for the Bucks tonight. Sustained the run that Miami was destined to go on, never completely crumbled and without Giannis, did just enough on the boards as a team to steal a win and control their own destiny Tuesday to winning the group and hosting a Quarterfinal game at home

Everyone knew the Heat would go on a run. It’s basketball. Also 3rd Quarter Bucks. Get momentum back to start the 4th and you’re fine.

Incredible team effort in the 1st half for Milwaukee. Keep your composure. All calls are going against you and you’re dominating the game. Miami definitely has a run in them and that’s fine. Weather it and keep sharing the ball/getting Dame open looks and you’ll walk away with a win.

Really impressive first quarter for the Bucks. Dame getting to be the primary playmaker and not deferring really puts pressure on Miami that they’re not used to against Milwaukee. Heat would much rather pack the paint (as they do so well when Giannis plays) than run and chase.

I have many thoughts about the Nat’l Medias NBA MVP talk, but it comes down this:
1) Narratives are like a game, players go on runs from media (4-6 weeks at a time) & momentum won’t last for early leaders through April
2) The hate Giannis/Bucks receive is real and the fans need to rally around it

I have many thoughts about the Nat’l Medias NBA MVP talk, but it comes down this:

Miles Bridges, Mark Williams, Nick Richards, Tre Mann, DaJuan Jeffries all OUT with various injuries. Surprisingly they have also assigned Jared Rhoden, KJ Simpson & Nick Smith Jr to the G League.

The chemistry is really starting to build this week. At first it was a possession or two per quarter and now Giannis and Dame are really starting to get in sync consistently. Once they really start learning each other’s movements and tendencies, it’s scary hours for the NBA.
