Pluribus is terrible science fiction. It has nothing particularly interesting to say about the concept the show hinges on and it has created incomprehensible barriers to any interesting questions being explored. Good thing it’s fantastically executed as a film product.

I think we’re lacking language to describe the kinds of difficulty encountered in games. I propose words like tuning, reads, puzzle, and timecard. Not exhaustive. I’ll give some examples:

I’m grooving with Silksong much better than Hollowknight so far. The start being a fair bit more linear is helping me get a handle on what to be doing in the opening hours.

So, I’m thinking the story of Alien Earth is really about how people running huge companies are giant fucking morons who overspend on capital and underspend on personnel and then ignore the advice of any personnel they did hire because they think they know better? Murrow confounds me a little though

Finished South of Midnight. What a weird game. It feels like there was some kind of very bad planning issue. There is SO much environment art and great art design and wonderful music and actually good writing. And honestly, the combat is pretty good by the end game. But the pacing is so strange.
