Schumer responded to the House's budget by organizing two internal meetings to discuss it, but he hasn't taken a clear stance yet. This should've been addressed before the House vote. I've had issues with Schumer's weak and indecisive leadership for years. It's time for new leadership.
One thing you really see every day is the different risk appetites between MAGA-era Republicans and Democrats. Basically compulsive, reckless, dangerous constant risk-seeking, versus almost comical levels of risk-aversion.

I watched all three of Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings films when they were in the cinema, and hated them. But people seem to love them. So I’ve just rewatched them for the first time in 20 years. And they’re even worse than I remembered.
