Those of us with cursed with long memories will find the White House destruction a lovely bookend to a career that began in 1980 with destroying the historic facade of the Bonwit Teller building after explicitly promising not to.

Work done of course by undocumented polish workers. Whom he stiffed.

During the Holocaust, the @nytimes.com shamefully buried news of the mass murder of Jews in its back pages, sometimes tucked in at the end of unrelated articles. With genocide scholars saying a new genocide is happening in #Gaza, the Times is behaving the same way.

NYT Buries News That Experts on Genocide Say Israel Is Committing It
A declaration by genocide scholars that Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza was widely seen as significant news--but not by the New York Times.

NEW: A former Microsoft AI engineer says the company's "AI for sustainability" claims are BS, a distraction from their hyper-polluting AI contracts with oil companies.

“From what I saw," he said, "I believe that finding and extracting more oil is one of the biggest use cases of AI today."
He helped Microsoft build AI to help the climate. Then Microsoft sold it to Big Oil.
A former Microsoft project manager reveals how the tech giant is using AI to help Big Oil drill—and how he and his partner are now pushing for change.

Saw a bumper sticker that said Roman’s 7:15. Always interested when someone cites something other than John 3:16. Looked it up.

Well played.

ICYMI: The giant tax and spending bill Republicans are advancing through Congress is basically a copy-paste of a secret oil industry wish-list revealed last year

It allows new fossil fuel projects to bypass environmental review while destroying clean energy competition
Trump's big, oily bill
The anti-clean energy provisions in Trump's budget bill could raise household energy costs by as much as 7 percent.

Why? Here's a hefty piece digging into that, for you:
