I'm very annoyed that I have emotions about a football game.

Why haven't more literary classics been done by The Muppets? Why stop at A Christmas Carol. Give me Miss Piggy as Emma, give me Gonzo as Dr. Frankenstein, give me Kermit the Frog as Jonathan Harker.

Love seeing how many books everyone read last year. Not sharing mine because self-employment and setting my own schedule means the number was high enough for the feeling to pass straight through accomplishment into embarrassment. 📚

Do you ever look at your SO's Spotify Wrapped and question every decision that led to spending your life with this person? Asking for a friend.

I was appalled at the idea of permanent jewelry, like, wait, it's going to be *soldered on* forever? Are they crazy? And then I walked by a cute tattoo shop and thought, "hm, I wonder if they take walk-ins."

Does anyone else feel disproportionately pleased when you complete one of those 'select the photos of x' captchas? Like, yes, I am human. Take that, computer!

Nothing like the traditional "I forgot to buy pumpkin so I can't make pie but there are raspberry turnovers in the freezer" Thanksgiving dessert.

I approach the use of dryer sheets the way I approach garlic in recipes. There is an upper limit where it crosses into "too much," but it's way higher than is reasonable for most people.
Time once again to reiterate my most controversial opinion:

One dryer sheet is more than enough, and using dryer sheets on towels makes not a single bit of sense.

Does anyone IRL stand around a piano with the fam singing carols? Seems to happen a lot in Xmas movies.

this story is bonkers!
New from me: Two influencers make very similar content promoting Amazon products. They dress the same. They buy the same stuff. They even have a similar tattoo.

Now one is suing the other, claiming her rival won't stop copying her. But who influenced whom? www.theverge.com/2024/11/26/2...

Continually amazed at the existence of fanfiction. Many very talented writers share work for no compensation and very little recognition, for the simple joy of creation within worlds created by others. It's just awesome.

I mean yes, I'm very annoyed with my husband right now and we're having a fight, but I can't just NOT send him this hilarious meme tailored to his interests.

Wonder how many other couples end arguments this way.

I'm going to blow your mind: It is possible for the same person to enjoy paper books, ebooks, AND audiobooks, all for different reasons and at different times.

There is something beautiful about spending time picking out a book because you think someone will enjoy it. Thoughtful books have always been my favorite gift to receive.

Love the idea I've seen of banned books for holiday gifts. Good for humanity etc., but also makes shopping a lot easier. 📚🎁

Just finished "The Gunslinger." Felt weirdly reminded of "The Waste Land" (poem), which made me feel so smart. I googled to see if others made the connection and, uh, yeah. Book 3 in the series. TIL. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Sometimes it's fun to think about how many hours and how much money people put into creating a tool so I can text my husband a picture of two Teddy Grahams embracing after one was partially consumed.
