Ph.D peptide development chemist with a synthesis job. Hoping to one day grow up to be a process chemist.

Realizing that there's a noise missing that should be there is still the scariest thing from grad school. Is the glove box down? Someone's pump for their hood?

Had to quench a Na/benzophenone still and found the same thing. Days of slow addition of IPA, then EtOH, then MeOH, breaking it up, then a little bit of water, little bit more, though it was done so used a squirt bottle. Got real hot real fast.

Makes sense. Where else would a mob boss want to eat?

I don't know any, but there has to be a programmer who will do it for some of that Halloween candy ice cream.

Maybe the comment needs to be a bit more obtuse.

I've seen some niche uses for in-line in process controls that utilized IR. Kind of rare, but is always an option.

A live demo of a product that's been recalled using a shark would be fun, and you wouldn't need storage afterwards.

There's a woman on tik tok who's very good at it as well.

But does the local hardware store have one? Bigger chains probably not, but the local stores (or Ace for some reason) generally either have that kind of stuff or know of a guy. Or have ads at the front.

Depends on how you define it. Spiked maces are a thing, and those are classified as cudgels.

The Voxy one is pretty funny and draws the eye more to me.

Good luck out there. Maybe the next one will become your dream job. Keep posting, I like to know there's someone else out there chasing their dreams.

Every time. Every time it's always that he was actively screwing people over to help the republicans, and every time people are acting like he's some political genius.

Ahh, but knowing that would require them to have actually worked in a store before.

Wasn't just missing the dolly, they picked it up by the lip and tried to move it that way first.

The traditional method of scaring ghosts away.

That looks like a good app. The one I have does that kind of thing too. The periodicity of a spring one would be good for a cocktail shaker as well.

People always forget there are 3 dimensions. Going up is a perfectly valid way to get more in one spot.

But does the Riker figure climb over the chairs to sit? That's the real test.
