No wayyy! That is so cool, actually.

Sounds fabulous. I would've titled it "Going Dark" but then that's not hugely imaginative, is it?

Better start placing your bets for The War Between The Land and The Sea, then!

Aww, what a shame! I would've liked to read that. I get the sense that Kate *would* be rather domestic off-screen.

YES! There's so much ground they could cover!

If you want an uncompromising film about a depressed rock star wandering around an empty house, I'd suggest Gus Van Sant's LAST DAYS, which is not an easy watch but at least has more integrity than this tedious dirge. I love Bruce Springsteen, but after this I might put the albums away for a while.

And of course, Paul Walter Hauser as the recording engineer, once again proving my diamond-hard theory that EVERY film could use more Paul Walter Hauser!

The only elements I liked were Stephen Graham as Bruce's father, and Jeremy Strong, who brings a twitchy weirdo energy to his role as manager Jon Landau. Even if he does get scenes where he has give long-winded elucidations about Springsteen The Artist to his nodding wife (Meryl Streep's daughter!).

Sometimes, The Boss interrupts his childhood flashbacks & dark nights of the soul for a fictional romance with a girlfriend who never existed. Or "Aha!" moments where he catches BADLANDS on TV, looks up the Starkweather murders in the library & then writes out "WHY?" in his notebook. I'm not joking.

Exactly! If I remember correctly, On Her Majesty's Secret Service - which the last Bond film quotes LIBERALLY from! - did it with just one cheeky joke: "This never happened to the other fellow." Hardly rocket-science.

...are NOT GUILTY, for a change, and it's all those calling for prosecution who are GUILTY! Because why not? Let the woman have her day in court! Justice for Kate!!!

..she outlives this, Power of the Doctor, and (to pre-empt Cam bringing it up again) not one, but 3 RTD2 finales in the same UNIT HQ! She is the TRUE Survivor of the Flux! And since Dr Who fans are mean about her (+ Jemma Redgrave's acting) on a regular basis, I'm gonna say that she & the episode..
