Our privatised water system is broken - and water lobbyists have worked hard to shut down alternatives. In July the People’s Commission is launching a people-first vision for our water in Parliament.Your MP needs to hear about it: actionnetwork.org/letters/ask-...
Ask your MP to show their support for a people-first future for our water!
We can make our water work for people - not shareholders - but water lobbyists are working hard to shut this solution down. Will you make sure your MP hears about it?

The Govt’s “largest review of the water sector since privatisation” ruled out public ownership - a solution 82% of us support - before even starting.
This review is a sham - but we still have a chance to be heard. Sign @labourlewis.bsky.social’s open letter: actionnetwork.org/petitions/si...
Sir Jon Cunliffe: put public ownership back on the table!
From day one, the government’s “largest review of the water sector since privatisation” - a.k.a the Cunliffe Review - has ruled out the solution that 82% of the British public want: public ownership. ...

Energy price rises are due to regulation that favours companies, not people youtu.be/ECTGhvVpsQc?... The UK has the highest domestic energy prices in Europe, and it’s all down to poor regulation, political dogma, and the fact that we haven’t got nationalised energy companies.

How we corrupted food www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2025/01... Food has been corrupted in the interests of profit, at cost to health. The evidence is clear. The question is, how is that situation changed to prevent an ever-growing health crisis overwhelming our capacity to treat it?

With reports this week having found that Britain is THREE TIMES more likely to arrest climate activists than other countries everyone should watch this shocking film👇

The court’s decision in @libertyhq.bsky.social’s case is due in the New Year
🚨Our parliamentary democracy exists to make sure a government can’t just do whatever it wants. That must be respected - and that includes THIS GOVERNMENT

Liberty will be back in court NEXT WEEK to #DefendDemocracy.

This is why I shall be standing with them👇

🏡 Labour's planning framework announced this week risks pandering to developers and not delivering the affordable housing and protection of nature that we need.

This is a dereliction of duty and Labour needs to think again.

So it turns out they spent £715 million on sending a grand total of FOUR volunteers to Rwanda.

For comparison, this is more than you could expect to spend on building an entire brand new hospital in the UK
In July, I FOI'd the Home Office for the full breakdown of spending on the Rwanda scheme

I was refused because the government planned to publish the data in future, and today is the day. These numbers are in millions
