The case where the BBFC rejected a shockumentary titled "Terrorists, Killers and Other Wackos" has always fascinated me for some reason. It goes to show how using real disturbing footage will not pass fine if it's intended to be like "Hey, look at these people dying! Don't ya love it, sicko?"

The case where the BBFC rejected a shockumentary titled "Terrorists, Killers and Other Wackos" has always fascinated me for some reason. It goes to show how using real disturbing footage will not pass fine if it's intended to be like "Hey, look at these people dying! Don't ya love it, sicko?"
This is what I've thought too - I'd love to finish the Ghibli filmography but keeping the Museum shorts exclusive to a place that costs £600 to fly to (and the shorts rotate monthly, so you can't see em all in one go) is exclusionary as hell.
i can understand whether ghibli or miyazaki wanting to showcase and even debut these shorts in the museum, but having them be entirely exclusive to the museum feels very exclusionary
