I've always loved how @danielhenningla.bsky.social narrates audiobooks. His character voices are engaging and always distinct, and his delivery is by turns gripping, moving, and hilarious. And quite a few of them are #SFF.

Run, do not walk, and get the audiobook edition. The story stands on its own, but it COMES ALIVE with @danielhenningla.bsky.social voice. It's MAGICAL. TJ Klune writes so beautifully & the message is essential for this moment in time. Go get it! (Local bookstore or library if you can.)

I struggled w/the robot & 'villain' voices. Took a break, came back, loved them, loved this book. Yay sticking w/it!
Pacing was a lil eh. BUT! Pinocchio. Robots. A lil LGBTQ love. Wizard of Oz. HILARIOUS characters. Unique world

I've read ppl say that The Whispering Door was too similar. IMO they're similar in that I loved them both! 😝
Wholesome, endearing, I laughed out loud several times. I loved all the characters! Bonus points to Daniel Henning for the audiobook! So fun!
