The NIDA summer research internship literally changed my life. This exact program made me decide at 18 y/o (9 years ago!) that I’d become an SUD researcher. I had never met a scientist or considered a career in science before, it opened a door for me I never knew existed. I’m heartbroken 😔💔
NIDA has announced it, but all the NIH summer internship programs are likely cancelled.
