This photowalk was part of the Wild Coast Film Festival was co-sponsored by @prophotosupply.bsky.social and Sony and was amazing.
Seeing something like this was a good reminder that nature finds a way. Even perched on a man-made tower on the dock in Astoria.

Some noise reduction and some zooming, but that's how I use something like this in the wild. _______________________________

Still haven't made it out there in snow. Need to change that.

My answer is sometimes. It just really depends on conditions. I use it a lot for wildlife, or for long exposures, but I'm finding that I shoot a lot more handheld than I used to. I'm not sure it's because of the higher ISO and IBIS though. Just because I'm ok with faster shutter speeds.

Love this Anne! I vote for something obscure.

The whole "Taxation without representation" thing is bound to come up. In this case, it won't be because we don't have representatives , but because the representative arm is powerless.

It's unfortunate because some of the places that benefit most from federal money depend on it largely because of a lack of local revenue.

With the cuts at the federal level and even specifically the IRS, I wonder how long it will take before federal taxes become a fighting issue.

Yup. I've got a film image of this one I haven't scanned yet, but soon.

This is special. I spent some time in some canyons like this a few weeks ago, but I didn't see anything quite like this. Wow!
