Another poor performance from Chelsea. Some players looking pretty jaded as well. Maresca didn't seem to know how to change it up either. #cfc #atache

Especially given that one of the strongest "vote Labour" arguments at GE29 will be "stop Farage" and the quickest way to undermine that is to have immigration policy that people who are sympathetic towards immigrants think is basically the same as Farage.

Grid bottlenecks aren’t a failure of the energy transition — they’re proof it’s working.

Renewables got cheap fast, and now the grid has to catch up. Time to build the wires for the clean energy system we already have.

My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.

A relief that won't have to watch Delap fail to control a ball again this game. His first touch is atrocious #BOUCHE #CFC

Excellent reporting from @charliesavage.bsky.social and @julianbarnes.bsky.social starting with the "plain reality" that there was no warship, and no fighting going on, in the Sept. 2 strike, or any of them:

Looking forward to Sam Parkin (ex Barnes Eagles teammate) saying why Delap was brilliant tonight actually!

Nicolas Jackson is ten times better than the forwards we kept at the club this summer. More bizarre recruitment. And sending him on a loan where he barely plays will tank his value and interrupnhis progress. All nonsensical to me

These city academy players (excellent Palmer) are shite

Maresca getting his just desserts. Picked wrong team. Didn't motivate them. Tosin should not play for us. Wasting minutes that could be used developing Josh into the top talent he will be. So frustrating after a positive week.
December 3, 2025 at 9:55 PM
Maresca has got this completely wrong. Sent the team out half asleep. Tosin just awful. Play Josh. Gittens and Delap both not at races

How is the Gyokeres challenge not a red card? He slides in, out of control, studs up. Anywhere else in the pitch it is red but for some reason when on the goalkeeper it is legitimate?

Awful batting capitulation again. Crawley just nowhere near good enough. To go from a good position to utter humiliation bodes ill for the rest of the tour. Will need all of Stokes' charisma and magic to drag them back up I think

Far too much credibility is being given to the new ‘Trump peace plan’ that would be tantamount to Ukraine’s capitulation. Here I explain why this new plan is far less than it seems and is unlikely to lead to anything. (£/free trial), open.substack.com/pub/samf/p/y...?

Adam isn’t speculating here: it’s what Reeves did last time (alongside a hefty employers’ NI hike) and it *didn’t* go down well.

It also didn’t raise enough to protect against shocks, hence more rises being needed now.

This is total, dismal, political failure.
Exchanging one unpopular, but effective, tax-raising measure for a load more unpopular, controversial and piecemeal tax-raising measures is not going to end well

“In an email from January 2019, Mr. Epstein wrote to Mr. Wolff of Mr. Trump: “Of course he knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.””

Starting to see why Mike Johnson kept the House shut down for weeks rather than allow the 218th signature to release the Epstein docs…
"In one email, Epstein told Maxwell, 'I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump.' He added that an unnamed victim 'spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned.'"

“'I have been thinking about that,' Maxwell wrote back."
