Majority of the commercials I see, I have been struggling to tell what’s real and what is AI. Any footage online, I assume it’s AI until I’ve had enough time to look into the event. But this shit is messing with my brain.

I wonder if it was like a PO Box sorta deal. Could you imagine the rush of someone checking that box and just hoping they get a letter weeks later? That’s too much suspense for me.

Yup.

I wonder if the burrito taxi robot companies are gonna come out in favor of wider and plowed sidewalks
Love that the public ROW is now free space for private companies to take over.

Last two years, I tried playing it “smart” by getting the shots mid December, thinking the strains hit big then. And both years, I got sick.

Wow, that’s a big improvement.

“… had me in a choke hold for the longest time” I’ve gotta remember to use this in conversation soon.

Side Note: I don't want the bag. I've moved on. Please don't buy the bag for me. If you're reading this and wondering "who do you think is buying you stuff?" my boyfriends looking for an Xmas gift idea might see this post. Please don't buy it. I don't want it. I'm serious.

I feel a lot better knowing that I can control my impulses now, when it comes to new things. There's always that fun aspect of seeing something shiny and knowing I can do something new but I never really follow through with it. I have plenty of things I need to go back to (VR, Midi keyboard...)

Good luck! Dealt with this yesterday and it was an adventure.

I do have to say, I feel bad for folks who got caught up in all this and were stranded for a night or day. That has to suck.

There was something exhilarating about trying to get as much detail as I needed to make my next move in getting home. And, I didn't have to stay over in Houston to make a Morning flight back home. I'm tired today but still, that was kind of fun.

So, I board a plane with about 30 people on it (half were United fight attendants and a few pilots mixed in with customers), make it to IAH, and then get to the gate to finally get to a flight that takes me to ORD. Sounds stressful but I really enjoyed the sudden change in plans.
November 9, 2025 at 7:58 PM
Lines start to queue at gates with people attempting to rebook with agents, and knowing that I may miss my connecting flight with my current flights, I end up getting on my laptop and changing my flight to a sooner one that flies into IAH, then a following flight to ORD.

So, I get up and check what the color labels say and sure enough, almost every flight was delayed by a couple hours. Some flight attendants next to me start having folks come up to them asking for advice. It's funny b/c all they could say was "get a morning flight tomorrow or try to make this one.
