The notion that the British Isles naturally don't have much wildlife compared to the rest of the world is weirdly pervasive. I've met members of the public while working at outreach events who were genuinely surprised to find out the UK had dinosaurs & ice age megafauna

It looks like the series is covering every stage of the pleistocene, so there's a whole bunch of older, more exotic taxa that are totally up for being featured. I'm holding out hope for late surviving chalicotheres
