Clyde spent today being Very Brave and doing things he has not done since the accident, like darting outside when we let out the dogs, and watching the birds from on top of the coffee maker.

I’ll be picking him up in an hour, minus one leg. He’ll be the world’s cutest lil tripod. Timing is bad—my husband has been underemployed for a minute due to the whole crumbling of society thing, my own work is unpredictable and taking a hit due to everything happening nationally.

OKAY SO on 10/25 I got married (small ceremony at home, quickly put together in order to make it happen before it’s illegal again) and then last night Count Sackula (Clyde to his friends) fell off of a ceiling beam in our kitchen and broke the shit out of a forelimb. (Thread)

The squirrels in my yard have adopted a weave or wig as a door. They recently gave it a trim (leaving the trimmings all over my yard). It’s…really something to watch them lift up their little human hair doorway and pop in/out. 😬 Happy Halloween?

Bowser made it half a block before she started limping and we had to turn home. I love old dogs so much but they’re so hard and so good at breaking your heart.
