There was that article a few years ago about how ORMs are the Vietnam War of computer science, but UI tweaks have to be a close second.

Anyhow, I noticed NPC barks were getting chopped off if they were wider than the view area so had to fix that:

Coincidentally to Spooky Day, I'd been working on an area in my game where I thought it would be appropriate to have a mist/fog effect and a tip from the roguelikedev discord lead me write animation code that used Perlin noise. I quite like how turned out

bwahaha, the dragon (the 'D') was standing on the bridge when it breathed fire at me, which lit the bridge on fire causing it to fall in the river and wash up on shore further away from me.

Mind you, I am possibly now stuck in this room...

There! I have published delve 0.4.2, which fixes the bugs I found this week and adds the much more readable menu I posted earlier today.

Now to push toward 0.5.0, which will include all the dungeons and actually be winnable

My inventory menu had been bugging me of ages because it was hard to find items when you were carrying lots of stuff and then I finally realized that duh I needs to be sorted by item category and colourized
