Support a truly magical residency. I am auctioning off a couple copies of The Classroom and one of my little David Lynch cups. I wrote one of the first stories in my new collection at SAFTA. It is a special place for me and so many others. @sundresspub.bsky.social

Furious to live at a time when scientific progress gives us incredible vaccines and boosters, while arrogant fools refuse to administer them.
It’s official: CVS will not give a Covid booster to anyone under 65 without proof of a immunocompromise. My whole family just got denied. Fuck those who voted for this.

Last night I finished Lost Records: Bloom and Rage. Such a beautiful, effective game about four friends in the 90s who find an abandoned cabin in the woods, and then things get witchy and surreal (very My Thing). Highly recommend for folks who like a game that tells a story.

The U.S. Senate is currently considering a budget reconciliation bill that quietly includes language that could devastate our public lands. It would:
- Make over 250 million acres of public land eligible for sale
- Mandate the sale of at least 2 million acres of Forest Service and BLM land

1. Call your reps about Trump's violation of the War Powers Act

2. Demand Congress haul Hegseth etc. in for hearings/briefings on justification

3. Demand to know why the Gang of Eight was not kept in the loop.

Do it NOW.

Listen. The only way you can become a good writer is by being a shitty writer and doing it anyways. You can’t magically become a good writer by having a machine do some of the work for you. That just makes you a fraud.

8/ June is Pride Month—a time to celebrate, but also confront hard truths. A new survey shows stark health gaps for trans Americans, especially in mental health and access to care. Recent federal actions may make things worse, from budget cuts to erased LGBTQ+ health data.
