Last night I finished Lost Records: Bloom and Rage. Such a beautiful, effective game about four friends in the 90s who find an abandoned cabin in the woods, and then things get witchy and surreal (very My Thing). Highly recommend for folks who like a game that tells a story.

I'm so pleased with how my raku pieces turned out today, especially the little spider webby patterns. I love that there's always an element of surprise in the final product.

I'm revisiting David Lynch's Catching the Big Fish today, looking back at what I marked on my first read through... It's sad to know that there will be no new David Lynch art put out into the world (but aren't we lucky to have what we have, to have lived at the same time as his Weather Reports??)

My three favorite books of 2024 were Beautyland by Marie-Helene Bertino, The Book of Love by Kelly Link, and State of Paradise by Laura van den Berg. All magical, inventive, and so fun! They've stuck with me all year.

I have some exciting news to share! My short story collection, The Earth Room, will be published with Black Lawrence Press in early 2026. It's witchy and full of tunnels and caves and Stardew Valley references, and I'm so, so happy to have it in the hands of this dream of a press.
