40:8 here in S Hants last night. Feathered Thorn was nfy. Potential migrants - 3 Golden Twin-spot, 2 Olive-tree Pearl, 13 RDP, 2 Turnip and Crocidosema plebejana. LBAM topped out at 17. #teammoth @migrantmothuk.bsky.social

41:24 to 6w actinic last night. Common Clothes Moth was nfg. Nfy were Brown-tail, Dwarf Cream Wave, Elephant Hawk-moth, Poplar Grey and Water Veneer. The third Small Marbled in the last week, this the brightest of them and the only apparent migrant. ##teammoth @migrantmothuk.bsky.social

A visit to Gilkicker Point (Hants) this morning produced a density of Elachista argentella like I've never seen...I stopped counting at 110. Also feeding signs of Scrobipalpa samadensis on Buckshorn Plantain. #teammoth

Work today was brightened by a Sedge Warbler in full song from a tiny patch of manicured bushes outside an adjacent warehouse, a Chocolate-tip, an Eriocrania sangii mine and some Coleophora mines on Hornbeam (no case found though the smart money has to be on serratella). #teammoth

Tried a new site for Bankesia conspurcatella this morning (admittedly only 2km from Warsash Common) and had 6 to HYL pheromone lure in 5 mins, so responsive! Flight time 06:30-08:45 on my experience and very end of Feb-very start of Apr. South Hants VC11 #teammoth
