Thinking the behavior isn’t fully covered by a king reference but might be modeled on The Sun king (style/tastes) and Emperor Commodus (unitary power, self awareness and self assessment of competence, governing style and affinity for brutality for weaker or less power). Both had shiny crowns.

Tangentially related using words to change facts example. Israel curtailing aid into Gaza as punishment for Hamas underperforming cease fire agreement conflating HAMAS and Palestinians which erodes support of the 20 points. Palestinian = HAMAS is their narrative. Further, this is using food as 🧨🔫

I am a HUUUUUUUGE fan of German potato salad, and we've taken to using this recipe when we want some, as we haven't had a place that serves it. Definitely recommend trying it out sometime!

Jumping in to say cold potato salad is also a German staple. It’s the style I grew up with. Here’s a recipe that’s close to that one.

My grandma would add chopped pickles (German barrel style) and pickle brine straight from the jar in place of vinegar. Mustard, mayonnaise, and herbs, too.
