One of the rare times I’ve had a person in a photo. This is my friend @bronwyni.bsky.social standing in the California Redwoods taking in those glorious god beams. Even with these insanely good conditions, without her in the frame for scale it would look and feel totally different.

I took this shot at Perranporth Beach in mid winter last year. I loved the richness of the fiery sky and the blue-grey clouds above, gently parting to reveal, perhaps, a glimpse of Heaven, while the ocean ebbed and flowed below. 😊
