is it even possible for a game to reach mass success without becoming a culture war wedge in some way anymore? youtubers will simply create a narrative for you the incentives are too strong. if you're a small game you're proving AAA hedonism is doomed. if you have boobs you're killing woke. etc etc

I'm having quite a lot of fun doing Phantasy Star Universe's story mode.
However, once I'm forced to use Goggles and Photon Eraser/Reflector, it becomes a miserable time.
Easily the worst parts of the game. 😭
