I love the Veronica Speedwell series, but I have to say, I keep hoping that Deanna Raybourn will do a JJ Butterworth spinoff. (Sometimes you just have to put these things out in the universe). #historicalmystery

DailyWaffle.com got a glow up and I decided to stress myself out on a Sunday morning pushing it live. I'm not a web dev, so there's nothing like the push hanging at 95%, looking like it's almost there. And you're thinking, please go. Please just go.

It took 3 tries before it completed. STRESS.

If you get hooked on the Forty Elephants while watching A Thousand Blows on Hulu, I got two historical fiction recs for you. These are the Alice Diamond era (she succeeds Mary Carr), but so good.

P.S. Hannah Curtis does the audio on The Forty Elephants and it's👩🏻‍🍳💋 #booksky

This is bonkers. I Punched Keanu Reeves vs. Leggo. I mean, I can't. (I did, but really, I can't).

I'm noticing everyone saying F175 was great was there for free or as part of work. I need to hear from people who PAID for a ticket if it was really that great.

Gotta be Sleepless! Great lines — Magic, MFEO; a killer soundtrack (not just one song);Bill Pullman as Walter. It’s the full package!

Fellow historical romance collectors, is there a reliable database / list of hardcover Book Club Editions from the late 80s/early 90s? I have a few Jude Deverauxs that have ISBNs, but also a Johanna Lindsey that does not. 🤔 #Booksky

Interesting read from a money perspective. It would be nice if it F1 was included in something I already subscribe to...

But I'll stick with F1TV because I want everything from practice to quali to the race. I'm not just turning up on Sunday.
F1's US TV rights fee could at least double, according to one media analyst, who thinks it may run into the "hundreds of millions."

With interest from streaming giants likely, the next deal will have a huge impact on the sport 💰

I think we need a dust jacket exchange program. Because while I ordered the US edition of On the Grid, because B&N preorder sale, I really prefer that UK cover.

US drops March 18; UK drops Feb. 13

What the what? That DQ wasn't even on my radar!
i don't always hit up the B&N sale but when I do I go for trusted authors and mass markets <3

I'll take any bit of good news I can get over here.
The FIA and F1 have confirmed all the race start times for this year - Las Vegas GP comes forward two hours to 8pm on Saturday night after two years at 10pm #F1

Did someone say time loop? Let me rec The Rehearsals by Annette Christie. A couple calls off their wedding at the rehearsal dinner and wakes up the next day to find they're in a time loop. Contemporary fic w/ romantic elements.

It'll have you listening to Pictures of You by the Cure on repeat.

I was surprised at how few of my indie bookstore follows featured Yin Yang Love Song in their new release stacks, especially with #LunarNewYear starting today.

Fake dating, rock cellists, a generational curse, and aunties who always have your back. Out now.

Seconded. Also, it's available zero cents on Hoopla, if your library brings that to you.
They are *wrong*. The Cutting Edge is a delightful, perfectly plotted romance.
The Cutting Edge is on sale for $4.99 on digital at Apple (probably elsewhere too) I think it’s free on Prime right now. I was shocked to see that squishy tomato on the rating. So many incorrect critics.

How did I not even KNOW about this? 🏃🏻‍♀️
Rick Astley's just released memoir, Never: The Autobiography is just delightful. I strongly suggest listening in Audible, as he narrates his story and is fantastic. You'll be so surprised at the depth of his story. Loved it.
