Captain America should have unmasked Stephen Miller as the Red Skull by now.
Every year I'm amused by the fact that the students think they are looking forward to the break more than teachers.

My in laws have a giant cat. Dudes like 20 pounds when he's of healthy weight.

I feel like music and to a lesser extent poetry are the most powerful magic we have as people. The ability to change minds and perspectives with just a few words is incredible.

I really wish life was like the last 15 - 20 minutes of Newsies.

I think we're in our second Santa Fe so we're almost there. Glad Mamdani got us through King of New York. The order and themes of the songs really do match up well with the past year.

I keep trying to nudge my wife that we should be more involved politically. Her counter was to start posting areligious "sermons" on the internet. We'd really like to spare our kids from the world of politics, but I'd also like to spare them from life in a dictatorship.

Everytime I see clips of the New York Mayoral debate I think of the talk less smile more song from Hamilton. I haven't read or heard a single substantive position or policy of Cuomo, even from mainstream media.
Mamdani's policies and positions are super clear. He even explains any takes he's changed

Going to the bathroom at the union office always makes me smile.

Your line

Is there a line
You won't cross
For your guy

Is there a crime
He could commit
You wouldn't deny

Someone he'd hurt
You couldn't accept
If you'd lost

Something he'd take
You couldn't give up
No matter the cost

I think every comedian Trump goes after should run for office. Especially if they have a shot at the house or Senate.

This chart is insane, this isn't going stop without a national strike. Politicians have had almost 25 years to do something.

I wouldn't let me son take his kitty to school, but the car was too hot to leave her there all day. She spent the whole day in my pocket taking pictures with my colleagues.

What if we were free
From manufactured tragedy
From shortages and mortgages
From debt required opportunity.
I want to help others
Shouldn't that be free?
Or at least, not cost me everything.
What if we worked together
To build
Something that lasted
Something for everyone
Like a country
Of the free

My oldest starts TK tomorrow and I'm totally fine, totally fine and not at all stressed at all, totally fine, fine, fine, fine. Everythings fine.

Wow they figured out how to blame a woman for Colbert's cancelation! I should be less surprised.

I bought 3 different citrus a month ago. The Clementine and Yuzu are still finding their groove, but this Finger Lime isn't afraid of our heat at all. Its first flowers are sprouting all over.

Somehow the "We need to support policies that are popular" crowd never land on the very popular polices like "taxing big corporation more," "making health care more affordable," or "paying teachers more."

It's always just "be 10% more racist."

I wonder why trump has a thing for pardoning D-list celebrities that definitely committed their crimes?

Do people really think this is how we make America great again? Torturing kids? Fucking monsters.
My high school age son has a classmate just seized by ICE and she is now in a cell in Louisiana, her phone seized. This is High School in the USA in 2025. More Au Revoir Les Enfants than Ferris Bueller. School and community response already in motion.

I'm pretty sure what broke me out of the Christian echo chamber as a teen was all the gay hate of the 90s. It seemed so antithetical to both Christian and American values I really struggled with the cognitive dissonance. It seems like it's only accelerated since.

I wish I could send postcards with pictures of each deported cuban to Marco Rubio.
